Default I am having problems with plug and play

i got a new digital camera and a kingston data traveler I
and both are usb drivers. Neither one is showing up in
the computer. The digital camera shows a full connection
yet it wont recieve any of the pictures off the camera
it's self. The data traveler shows up in device manager
with a big red x. its shows that it is installed, but not
assigned anywhere. It also shows that it is working
properly.

A red X means the device is disabled, so you should be able to select it,
click properties, and click enable, but it sounds like more is up.

Do any USB devices work? If not, look under system devices and make sure
the USB root hub is installed and functioning properly. You may need
drivers for your motherboard, or the Windows ones may do in some cases.
