windows explorer locking up - is this normal?

Default windows explorer locking up - is this normal?

now seems to be when i browse the network more than anything.

PT, if the 'hangs' are still taking place, but, not as often, you may have
more than one issue taking place. Have you added any applications that
would correspond to the problem beginning?? (this would include updating
programs).

Will be out of town for the next 4-5 days........maybe a more knowledgeable
body will jump in with more suggestions. You may want to give the
'selective startup' a shot.....can't hurt. And have a go with Process
Explorer........it will tell you a lot!

Configure the Resource Meter to launch at startup, and monitor system
resources as you surf.
