Default Limited network services in Win 98

Connected to Windows Server 2003. I'm able to see the server through network
neighborhood, and I'm able to ping it from the command prompt. I can't,
however, use the same server with exchange server or internet explorer (proxy
server name). Outlook gives me an error saying exchange server can not be
found. Internet explorer goes out and tries to connect to the internet but
returns a DNS error saying page cannot be displayed. I've installed DSClient
and like I said I can see the server through network neighborhood and by
pinging the server name and getting the correct IP Adreess to the server as a
response.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
