Entering the BIOS Utility
What is the proper key sequence to enter the BIOS Utility. I've tried several recommendations given in these newsgroups, however wasn't successful. Using an OEM (no disc) IBM model NetVista, Celeron 700 MHz and IBM enhanced 101-102 keyboard (accordig to Everest), The OS is Windows Me. Tks Paul -- cogito ergo sum |

The key strokes required to enter the BIOS, which in most cases can only
be done from DOS following a DOS boot, although some modern bioses can now be flashed with the operating system running, vary from maker to maker. For many systems with ward bioses the answer is to press Del as the system boots. For most systems the required keystroke(s) is displayed on the screen when first booting immediately following the RAM count. Some other keystrokes to try include: F1 F2 and less often, Ctrl + Alt + Esc Ctrl + Alt + Ins -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP PAT (Paul) wrote: What is the proper key sequence to enter the BIOS Utility.
