Me? Vista Setup will refuse to launch in Millennium. |

No problem whatsoever subject to various constraints the most important of
which is that you use a third party boot manager such as BootItNG (BING) from www.terabyteunlimited.com (NB only ONE "R", not two) and ensure that the Win Me partition is hidden if not actually removed from the partition table when booting to Vista. To remove the Win Me partition from the partition table enable BING to use more than 4 partitions which then allows you to select up to four of the partitions to be placed in the partition table when booting each OS. A second problem is of course is that much modern hardware such as is required to run Vista simply cannot run Win Me due to lack of the necessary chipset drivers, etc. -- Mike Maltby Springdale wrote: Is there a way I can perform a multiboot fuction between Vista and Windows Me? Thank you very much Mike from your prompt response. Surprisingly, I have a
nice P3 1.4Ghz machine with the works, but remains on the intel 810 chipset platform that is specially made for Windows Me, but surprisingly works well with Vista once you put it on a diet. So, the old saying goes for my PC. I get the best of both worlds! :-) "Mike M" wrote: An alternative method of running Win Me with Vista is to run Win Me in a virtual machine such as VPC running on Vista although this is subject to the reasons for running Win Me due to the hardware limitations of the client OS imposed by the virtual machine. -- Mike Maltby Mike M wrote: No problem whatsoever subject to various constraints the most important of which is that you use a third party boot manager such as BootItNG (BING) from www.terabyteunlimited.com (NB only ONE "R", not two) and ensure that the Win Me partition is hidden if not actually removed from the partition table when booting to Vista.
