Default Cookies

Hi. I know someone on the web that says it's essential to
delete Temporary Internet Files and cookies as part of PC
maintenance. The person said and I quote 'Doing the
maintenance will alleviate a lot of headaches down the
road.'

Is it really essential to delete cookies? What problems
can be caused by not deleting cookies?

By not deleting cookies?...... first problem you have is the security aspect
of it as some site's store login information in them (very bad practice, but
some webmasters are set in their ways).

Is deleting them essential..?...... definately not. Is it advised?..... most
of the time, yes

Its not essential to delete cookies - they're essentially harmless in the
scheme of things; they store web site preferences, sometimes encrypted
usernames/passwords. Deleting your cache is a good idea, because it is so
dynamic.
