Default Advent Recovery disks - all the same?

My husbands Advent ME recovery floppy disk has become unusable ( reporting
first a track 1 fault then I/O ). Tried it in my pc and it doesnt recognise
it as a floppy. I did a back up copy years ago but we cant find it.

I also have an old Advent ME recovery floppy which came with my pc which now
has XP on it.

Is it likely that the 2 recovery discs are the same as the pc's were
purchased within months of each other? If I try it, is it likely to just
not work from the beginning or get half way through formatting before
giving up?

Just wondering if anyone has tried it?

Failing that is there any other way to reset the partition back to factory
settings without a working floppy?

Noel thanks for that. I am very impressed with their service ( and
pleasantly surprised). Just 48 hrs from filling in the online form to
receiving the disk.
