samsung 242MP
I have a Samsung 242MP monitor. When I set the display mode to 1920 by 1200
60Hz It says I have an invalid display mode and the video card reverts to 1600 by 1200. 1920 by 1200 60Hz is supposed to be the native resolutio of the monitor. Bob |

Have you installed the drivers for it? If not, download/install per the
manufacturers instructions. http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/n...Multi-Function If the link breaks, copy/paste the entire link into your browsers address bar or use: http://tinyurl.com/b78zl -- Brian A. The native resolution of the monitor is irrelevant if your video display
adapter doesn't support it. The only valid modes are the ones that your video adapter knows about. If your video display adapter should be able to support a 1920x1200 mode, then perhaps you aren't running the correct drivers for it. Try getting the newest version of the display adapter drivers. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "sycochkn" wrote in message k.net... I have a Samsung 242MP monitor. The video adapter supports 1920 by 1200 60Hz. I am thinking I may have to
use the DVI interface. Bob "Jeff Richards" wrote in message ... The native resolution of the monitor is irrelevant if your video display adapter doesn't support it.
