Have you ever tried to find older versions of Media Player
or DirectX or IE or Service Packs?
Once M$ pulls support for a product, it generally makes
it illegal for ANYONE to make it available for download
after that date, personal experience with trying to find
stuff that was "out of date". M$ thinks it hurts sales of
current products.


Really ? have you tried any of the FTP sites e.g.
Microsoft - msfiles - win95 etc etc
(If you know what you are looking for, they are all there)
