Default transfer of pci sound card

I have a sound card installed on one computer and I want
to move the sound card into another computer running the
same OS (WIN98SE)

I don't need any applications that may have been installed
with the sound card. I just want to install the necessary
driver for the card.

I do not have a disk/cd with the drivers on it.
My question is, can I copy the driver that is listed under
Device Manager for the sound card and then use it as the
driver for installation on the other computer.

Any questions for clarity just let me know.

Thanks for the help.

Have the PC off. Install the card and boot the system.
See if windows has standard drivers for it. If not you
can go to the mfg's site and get them.
It is not going to hurt anything to boot the PC with the
sound card in it. You may have to deal with no sound for
awhile. Until you get the proper drivers.
