Vcom PowerDesk remains in memory
Multiple copies remain in memory when the program is closed. After 2 times the program won't load. It is necessary to go into Task Manager and close one of them and sometimes both. This problem seems to be unique to Windows XP. I have used this program for years with both Windows 98 and ME with no problems at all. It's not a new problem, it's been around for at least two years. I contacted VCom and all they would say was that it happened on some machines. And that's all they said. So I don't know if it's a VCom problem or a Windows problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so was it resolved? TIA, Walt -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

You may want to go to 'microsoft.public.windowsxp.general' with this request, Walt. By the looks of it, WinXP doesn't like ths proggy, but there may be a way to circumvent it.
