Add/remove in Control Panel

I'm running Windows ME and when I attempt to use the
add/remove programs in the control panel there is a
listing for McAfee VirusScan. When I click on that listing
and click remove. It tells me that this can only be
accomplished with programs that are installed. How do I
get McAfee VirusScan from the list in the control panel????

Did you remove VirusScan some other way?
If so, you might consider installing it again and uninstalling
correctly.

If all you want to remove is the entry then TweakUI is a safe way.
Tweak UI 1.33 for Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows Millennium
Edition, Windows 98 or Windows 95.

If you are experienced with Regedit.exe and the Registry, then you can
remove the entry under the Uninstall key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
(Don't go there if you are not happy using Regedit)
