Default SATA Drive not recognized

Hi Guys

I just installed a Intel 865perl mother board, New Intel processor, PSU
and a sata hard drive (Seagate SATA 300GB), I reused a 30 GB pata hard
drive.

Now the problems:

When I boot the machine I get a fatal error saying there are not enough
stacks in config.sys. Do I have to add a line to config.sys? What is the
line I have to add?

The sata drive is not seen at the C:\ prompt, Windows does not see it,
Bios DOES see it. I have changed the drive from connector 0 to the other
connector, It moves in bios but I still can't access it. I have not
formatted this drive yet. If I have to (I do) how do I do it?

You'll first have to partition the disk with fdisk. But beware, there are
issues on using more than 128 GB of that disk. See
