Default Most asked question? Does Windows 98 support USB for a disk?

Greetings!
My PC is in the shop and I'm using an older laptop with
Windows98 (not 98SE).

Idid look in the knowledge base - but did not see a clear
statement that said there was no USB disk driver for
Windows 98.
I checked with the Western Digital site. It said there
was limited support for W98, but WD did not support W98-
only 98SE.

So.
Is this possible?
Is there a USB driver for Win 98 for a disk?

THANKS!!!!
Jay E.
