Default CD rom won't read

After trying to install an ethernet card(unsucessfully)in
Win 98. I found that my CD rom drive was inacessable. I
checked with the Device manager and it says the unit is
functioning properly. It has power and the tray moves in
and out but Windows says there is no disk in the drive.

Safe mode gave no help.

I have also attempted to install the driver again and
then went ot hte website and the company says the driver
I have is not for windows applications.

Any help would be great.

Thanks Dan

Default CD rom won't read

Hi Dan,

I'm having the same problem. I can't access my CD-ROM
drive. I will look at the BIOS to see what it says.
