Outlook Express - Lost/deleted messages

I tried to set up an auto reply in OE and realized that all messages
currently in my in box were being replied to. To stop the embarrassment, i
disconnected from server and reopened oe. When I did this, I obviously had a
number of messages in outbox which I then deleted. However, when I reopened
my in box, i found that approximately 200 messages had disappeared. Does
anyone know if these are retrievable??

Ask this question on the OE news group.......and do a search of your
computer for *.dbx files. They may be in another spot.
