Microsoft Excel 5.0

I'm running Windows ME. It came with Microsoft Works. I
am trying to install Excel 5.0. During setup I get a
message that installation cannot be completed because it
can't find Share.EXE. How can I solve this problem?

Win Me contains no share.exe and this file hasn't been part of a Microsoft
operating system since Win 95OSR2 was released however there is an easy way
round the problem. The fix is to right click on your desktop,
select New, text document and name the file share.exe. In other words create
an empty file named share.exe. Now move the file to the Windows\system folder
and another copy to the "root" of C:, that is to C:\ itself. For more details
