USB Suddenly Inoperative
USB was working, then suddenly stopped working. Removable icon always shows
in Explorer, even if no device plugged in. When device plugged in, error message states device not ready. I tried re-installing the USB driver, but no change. Is this a registry problem? Any ideas on how to fix. Appreciate, thanx

Appreciate, thanx boot into safe mode and remove all references to the USB , then reboot and let windows redect/install them again. post back if no joy
