Default how can i speed up print spooler

I have a Lexmark Z705 printer and every other print job
that I do I have to reboot because the job will freeze
up. Lexmark says I need to speed up my spooler. Does
anyone know how I can do this?

First, delete the contents of the spool folder:

Start Windows Explorer.

On the View menu, click Folder Options.

Click the View tab, click Show all files, click to clear the Hide file
extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.

Browse to the following location:

C:\Windows\Spool\Printers

On the Edit menu, click Select All.

On the File menu, click Delete.

When the Confirm File Delete message appears, click Yes.

Quit Windows Explorer.

Restart the computer.

Second, make sure that you have plenty of available disk space for spooling.

Third, clear out temp files. To do this go to Start, Programs, Accessories,
System Tools, and run Disk Cleanup.

After printing, close the application that you are printing from and check
Disk Cleanup to see if temp files are left around after the print job. If
this is the case, try clean booting to see if something is running in the
background that is interfering with the process of deleting these files when
a job is complete.
