Default ME can't connect to other computers

Hi,

I'm working on a network that has the following:

Desktop 1 -Win98 with two shared printers
Desktop 2 - WinXP Pro
Desktop 3 - Win 2000 Pro
Laptop - dual-boot Win 2000 Pro / Win ME
Wireless router with two additional access points

All machines are connected to the network with wireless NICs.

I've checked that all machines are members of the same workgroup, and all
have unique computer names. File and Printer sharing is enabled, as well as
TCP/IP.

Here's the problem: All machines can print to the printers on the 98 box,
with the exception of the ME partition of the laptop. On the ME partition, I
can ping the router and the access points, and can also access the Internet
through the router. I can't, however, ping any of the other computers on the
network. Everything works perfectly on the 2000 side of the same laptop,
eliminating a faulty NIC as the cause. Other computers can see the ME
partition as a member of the workgroup, but cannot access them; i.e., the
computer shows up in the network browser, but I can't access anything on
that partition. Despite this, none of the other machines can ping the ME
partition.

In the network settings, he also has an AOL Adapter and a T-Online adapter,
which he uses when he brings the laptop home.

Does anyone have insight as to why this laptop won't access the other
machines, despite being able to reach the router and the WAPs? The main
objective is to be able to print to the devices attached to the 98 box.
Thanks,
Mike
