Default Locked File

I'm not very computer literate so I'm asking for help.
I'm trying with the help from Linksys help team to install
a driver for a Wireless-G PCI Adapter. I can't find my
disk so they sent me a downloadable e-mail. We've tried
several different options over several hours and the end
resuot is always the same. It says the seup was
successful but when you check my device manager, it's not
there. It is in my program files, but can't be accessed.
It syas I have a Locked file. In this their Techs won't
help. HELP! THIS IS THE ENTIRE MESSAGE.
C:\ProgramFiles\WMPCI54GWLANMonitor\ProcNICs.9x.dl l
Does anyone know what to do?
