Whoever wrote the OS would be logical. Since you are posting in a Microsoft
group they are - presumably - the author of your OS. I'm sure they'll be
pleased to know it has a bug.

Considering that the support period for Win98SE is over *very* soon, I doubt any bug
reports will even be examined.

If you found a bug in Windows 98 at this late stage then just forget about it.
I would image it will be one that has been reported hundreds of times since 98
was first introduced and with 98 being retired very soon (that means no changes
will even be considered) then you are wasting your time even attempting to
report it.
