Default connectimg to xerox docucenter ip address

what utility do I use to connect a win 98 workstation to a
xerox document center 265 printer. running windos server
2003. hp admin utiltiy for win 98 only allos me to access
our hp pronters only. I need a "standard tcp/ip" port
configuration utilty. But i can't fond it anywhere....help

What happens if you type in at the "run" bar \\ip address? The system
should then ask you for a driver selection for that printer.

If Xerox has no such utility, you'll need to search google.com or
download.com for a TCP/IP printing utility. Windows 98 does not support
printing directly to a TCP printer.

Don't try to have 98 print directly to the printer.

Let the windows server 2003 act as print server.
The server supports printing to a standard TCP/IP port.

Then share the printer from the server.

If you want to be a bit flash, install 98 drivers
on the server as 'additional drivers'.

Then point the 98 workstation to the server share.
