Keyboard does not enter dual stroke characters correctly
I have a strange problem. If the keyboard is set to French (Canadian), the
dual stroke characters like à ç è. become ``a or ``e or ¸¸c, i.e the first stroke does `` and the second stroke places the character at the side instead of underneath the ` (or above like for the ç) this also happens for ¨¨ & ^^ . It keeps happening, even if replacing it with French (standard) or an other keyboard OS is 98SE IE is ver. 6 BTW, the correct characters are copied into this text. Any help will be appreciated, I sure hate having to re-format Thank you for any information Joseph Rudigier Remove the tripple SSS in the e-mail address. Added to reduce spam. |
