can't install ezarmour anti-spyware
no they didn't say what the problem was. it sure would have been nice if
they sent me the new version a few days ago. i guess i had to prove myself. "Noel Paton" wrote in message ... At least it shows that CA are doing something about it! - did they indicate what the problem actually was?? "Noel Paton" wrote in message ... Hmmm - it seems that this may be related to a previous Zone Alarm install?? - does that make any sense? If so, and you've already removed ZA from the Add/Remove Programs UI, then you still have some work to do (ZA is as bad as Norton with the amount of dross it leaves behind) -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2006, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.crashfixpc.com/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "Gary Roach" wrote in message ... it was NAV 2002 alone. i went through the manual uninstall procedure - including going through the registry and removing all keys and values that referenced "norton" or "symantec". now i get a E9027 error when i try to install pestpatrol alone in safe mode (which is what the etrust tech support recommended). any ideas?
