Default setting printer margins, eliminate a printer error with Windows 98 SE

Hello, can someone please tell me:
a) how to set up the margins on my printer, HP DEskjet
722C, I can not find where I can change them.
b) many times the width of printed page is wider than
what the printer will copy. Is there a setting also that
will make page shrink in width size for whole page
printing.
c)how can I eliminate an ERROR notice which appears each
time the printer finishes printing and sometimes during
its printing operation. The stated notice: HPFVLS06
caused a general protection fault in module HPFVLS06.EXE
at 0002 : 00000 276. It further threatens to shut the
computer down, but over the last two months it never has.
Appreciate your help!
