Default Huge problem!!!

I just upgraded my system. I bough a new motherboard (Asus
A7N8X) and a new video card (ATI Radeon 9800 Pro). All
sounds good but it isn't. After a difficult struggle of
getting the horrible nForce drivers installed and the
Catalyst(much easier) Computer is working fine. Then I try
to go on the internet. No internet. I can't get on. On the
back of the computer at the LAN port there is a little
amber light that is light up. I know that the internet
works because with my other motherboard (also with
integrated LAN), it worked just fine, and consider I am
writing this on a different computer with the same
connection. Things got worse though when I removed the LAN
(not physically.) I was planning on installing a different
ethernet (PCI) card and all would be well. I wasn't in need
of the internet at the moment and windows suggested that I
should restart. So I did and that was the last I have seen
of my pretty wallpaper since. It loaded windows and then
came up with this nasty message: (surpriseingly enough, not
on a blue screen
"Invalid VxD dynamic link call to device number 3, service B.
Your windows configuration is invalid. Run the Windows
setup program again to correct this problem"
The computer does says that with the press any key thing,
although if you just sit there and watch it, the computer
wil shut right off whether you press the key or not. Safe
Mode doesn't work, no matter how I try to do it, it will do
the same thing. Is there a way to fix this without
reinstalling windows and/or formatting my hard drive? Thanks.
Please email any suggestions to:
