Default Changing default email client

When I want to send an email, Outlook opens by default. Is there a way so
that email client is set to others such as Yahoo?

Nope. Internet Explorer (which manages the clients used to perform many
activities) can't be redirected to a webmail client to send mail since these
clients are not MAPI compatible.

Actually when you download the latest Yahoo messenger it gives you the
option to install a Yahoo mail client which will result in it being the
default mail client and goes through their HTTP service. I've never seen it
work properly but, well, you asked if there was a way for it and
specifically mentioned Yahoo so all I can say is have fun with it. I know
only four people only who've used it and each of them have had problems with
their browser after this and uninstalling the mail client (called Yahoo Mail
if I recall) fixed it.

Don't think I said that it actually WORKS It's just there... I suppose
that it must work for someone but the only four times I've seen it and
witnessed it in action resulted in nothing but errors. Maybe there's an
off-chance that it will work for the OP? While I doubt it will it's worth
letting them poke around with it and see if it does them any good. It's
uninstallable without any issues should you run into it while working.
There's something good to be said about it at any rate. As a compenent you
can even uninstall it while leaving messenger intact.
