upgrade 98 to 98se
i downloaded a copy of win 98se from my schools academic
allience program and tried to install on my vaio notebook which is running just 98 but the install asks me for a product key which was not needed for this (Legal) copy of windows i tried using my original win key for 98 but doesn't work why does it ask for a key when it is no needed?

You should contact the administrator of the your school's Academic Alliance
