The following file is missing or corrupted. c:/windows\command.com. Type the name of the command interpreter. Can someone help me. I deleted these files in error while doing a clean up. Thanks |

If you are 100% ABSOLUTELY SURE that this is how this error message
happened, then start your system with a Windows 98 bootable floppy and type the following: SYS C: then press Enter, remove the diskette when it is finished, and restart. If you are NOT 100% ABSOLUTELY SURE this is how it happened, don't try to fix it yourself as you could corrupt any remaining files on the hard drive. Seek out the assistance of someone qualified in hardware troubleshooting. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Win9x] * PLEASE post all messages and replies in the newsgroups * for the benefit of all.
