Adding Excel to Windows 98
I have an early version of Windows 98 and would like to
add Excel capabilities to it. My system is 400 mhz laptop, Pentium II with a 6.4 gig hard drives. Any ideas of how to accomplish this without upgrading to XP or similar? |

[You can run Excel on a Mac]. Excel is available in the retail market as a separate application and also as a part of Microsoft Office. You cannot download it from the MS website. You must purchase it. If you just want to read Excel files, you can obtain a free reader from the Microsoft office web site http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en |

Adding Excel to Windows 98

including Excel 2003) will not run on Windows 9x. You will want to find an earlier version. -- Gary S. Terhune MS MVP for Win9x "ksnowdon (removethis) @earthlink.net" wrote in message ...
