upgrade from 98 to xp

can anyone tell me how to upgrade from windows 98 to xp
please.

Start win98. Insert the winXP cd and start upgrading.

Many poeple will prefer a clean install of winXP. I have not had any
problems with upgrading.

um.... stick the disc in and load it? actually, i'd check
to see if you have Windows 98 SE (second edition) I don't
think that the original release of 98 supports the XP
upgrade. if it doesn't, buy the more expensive copy and
put THAT disc in

Both Win98 and Win98SE as well as WinME can be upgraded to winXP.

Win95 cannot. However, the CD will serve as a qualifying product using an
retail upgrade version to install winXP.
The installation thus must be a clean install.
