Default Winword Error in Microsoft Word 2000

Could you please help me figure out why when I click on
Microsoft Office 2000 this appears. Winword has caused an
error in Winword.exe. Winword will now close.
I cannot use Microsoft Office at all. But I can acess all
other Microsoft Office Software. (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Please help!
Thanks,

See if this helps.
Joan

This problem is often caused by a damaged or corrupt normal.dot
template. Look for the file normal.dot which is the default Word template
file and either rename or delete it and then try using Word again.

For more details of this suggested fix see MS KB 307814 - "WD: Error
Message:
System Is Dangerously Low on Resources"
