Default SSDPAPI.DLL

Have a look at
http://www.treiber-archiv.de/index.html

It's in German, but just scroll down to systemfile-center,
written in orange in the centre of the screen.

Then click on DLL-files, and there are thousands listed,
which you can download.

Ironically the 1 I need isn't there, you may be luckier.

Phil

-----Original Message-----
During a systems crash I lost SSDPAPI.DLL which enables

my
Plug & Play to operate. I have gone back to my original
Windows ME disk, but cannot find this file on the disk.
It is also not available on the Microsoft site. Can

anyone
please help?

Start/Run/msconfig.exe/Extract button

Browse to C:\Windows\Options\CABS or C:\Windows\Install

and extract SSDPAPI.DLL from CAB 15.

See my earlier post which included a number of ways of restoring this file
including the more recent patched version.
