Default PC100 Drivers

I have this disc with PC100 Drivers, as follows:
: IDE Drivers
: VGA Drivers
: Sound Drivers
: PC-cillin 98' (OEM)
: AMI Desktop Client Manager

CD V3.4

My current OS is Windows ME.
I had this disc since earlier times, but rediscovered it only now,
with no idea whether it's safe to use at this time with ME installed.
Can someone enlighten me?
Surely appreciate it.

Harry, old and sometimes forgetful.

Looks like a disc that came with a motherboard. I wouldn't expect that any
of the drivers would be WinMe-compatible. And as for PC-cillin 98, you'd
probably be better off with no antivirus program than one that old.

Makes a lot of sense, Richard.
Thank you for clearing this up for me and help preventing a possible
disaster.
I might be able to use it on my backup PC, it has Windows 98 and the
corresponding motherboard, I believe.
How can I check and make sure?

Harry.

I had one of those Harry but it came with my Win98 box for the sound
drivers of my machine so don't know whether it would be any good for a
WinME machine.

Probably your best bet would be to browse the CD and the driver folders - if
none of them mention WindowsMe then it would be a safe bet it's for 98 only.

Right you are, Joan, it mentions win 95 and 98 and I think it will be safe
for me to use on my backup, which has windows 98 installed. Now that this
machine is ok, I can risk working on it, the backup that is.
Thanks for all the help.

Harry, old and must go.
