While I am starting my windows 98 an error messge comes:
C:\windows\crpt32.dll the system cannnot find the specified file. I think the same file would have been deleted while scanning with Norton antivirus. What should I do to retrieve the file? For what purpose this file is used.. Pl give me a solution. Kuttan |

Did you spell the file's name incorrectly? If so, there is a file named
crYpt32.dll; however, there is more than one version and the one you need depends on the browser you have installed. You might want to try this: control panel, add remove programs, highlight Internet Explorer, click remove and on the resulting screen, select repair. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "kuttan" wrote in message ...
