Install Win98 on second hard drive

I am using two hard drives. The one I currently use for drive c is smaller
than my d drive. I want to install win98 on drive D. I am using it now to put games
on. My question is what is the best way for me to install my os on drive d.? I am networked to another computer at home for internet purposes only. Will I have to redo all the networking configuration when I put win 98 on drive D, even though I will be keeping my current c as c. ? I really do not want to have to redo the network configuration. Please advise me the best way to go about this.

If you install Windows you will have to set up your networking and
re-install all your applications It doesn't make any difference what drive
you install it to.

If you copy the existing Windows installation from the small hard drive to
the large hard drive then you won't have to re-install anything or do any
new setting up.

When you copy Windows from the small drive to the hard drive, be sure to
exclude the file win386.swp (by default, in the Windows folder) or the copy
will abort when it reaches this file. Or, assign the swap file to drive D
(and reboot) before doing the copy - same effect. Otherwise, there's no
special considerations. You may need to do SYS C: from a DOS boot with the
new drive after you have done the copy and after you have re-arranged things
so that the new drive is the boot drive and the original drive is the slave,
so be sure to create (and test) an emergency restart floppy before starting
the process.

Drag and drop is fine - in fact it's preferable to cut and paste.

If you don't re-assign the swap file to D before starting, then the
procedure is:
Select all folders (Ctrl+A) in the root of C, then deselect \Windows
(Ctrl+Click). Drag everything else to D.
Create the folder D:\Windows.
Open C:\Windows. Select everything, then deselect win386.swp. Drag
everything to D:\Windows.
