usb mass storage device-windows me

Default usb mass storage device-windows me

i have windows me, i am trying to use a cruzer micro in
the usb, but when i do it a massage pops out saying i
need the windows me cd to install the usb mass storage
device. i do not have the cd. what should i do? thank you
for any help.

When the installer asks for the Win Me CD point it at the folder
containing the file BASE2.CAB which should be located in either
C:\Windows\Options\Cabs or C;\Windows\Options\Install.

Have you tried to browse to Windows/Options/Cabs? Many
of the computers from the major companies include the
Windows install cabinets on your hard drive rather than
giving you the actual CD with th OS on it.
