windows protection error
Hi
Not sure if this is the right newsgroup, but any help appreciated. On starting up a PC , we get the usual dos windows loaded, it then give the following error message:- "While initialising Device VKD, Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer". I checked the FAQ on Microsoft, and came across the following article no. 263318, it states that the VKD is a Virtual Keyboard Device Driver. It say switched off the PC and unplug the keyboard and try another keyboard. I have tried this, but still get the same message. Can anyone please suggest other remedies? Thanks Barry __________________________________________________ ________________ This e-mail has been scanned for Viruses prior to sending by Norton's Anti Virus. |
