cannot delete messages in Outlook Express
My operating system is Windows ME, Outlook Express 6.
Something is prohibiting me from deleting messages. This problem occured yesterday. Messages already in the Deleted Items were permanently deleted and the pc was shut down and rebooted. At that point messages could be deleted. OE was closed. Upon opening OE this AM, again I could not delete any messages. Please advise on how to correct this.TIA

If there are any posts in your Deleted Items folder you want to keep move them
to another folder. Using Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder not down the location of your Outlook Express message store. Shut down Outlook Express Using Windows Explorer browse to your Outlook Express Message Store and delete the file Deleted Items.dbx. Restart Outlook Express. This should now automatically rebuild a new Deleted Items folder.
