Reformatted hard drive. Loaded Win98 Second Edition. Want to change
registry so Windows won't ask to insert CD. Received reply from Alan
Edwards with a reference to HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE. But don't know what line to
change. Any help w/b appreciated.

??
I told you exactly what to alter.

Change the value of SourcePath under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Setup

....Alan

You're welcome Lavert. If you go back into the registry and take a look
you will see the value (SourcePath) that was updated in the right pane.
