Default WMV files in Win98

Hi , does anyone know if you can run a wmv file in Win 98. I tried to
convert it to an indeo file in XP but the quality was lost.
Has anyone done a conversion to a file type that W98 can run?
Is there a driver I need for wmv in w98?

Thanks
Russell

Hi Russ,

I have and my system stores wmv8ds32.ax, wmvcore.dll, wevdmod.dll,
wmvdmoe.dll, wmvdmoe2.dll and wmvds32.ax in my C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

Do a FIND for "wmv" without quotes on your PC and you may find the same or
similar files.
