Default how to conect two computers to the internet

i have to computers ..
the one is conected with adsl and simply modem ..... and the other one
not conected to the internet .... i just want to have internet in two
computers ....
i have internet in one computer by conection manualy soo my answer is
if i will buy switch i can to do this thing to conect to the two
computers with the conection manualy with a switch ????

We don't have enough information to give you a good answer.

You might be able to connect both computers to the modem through a
switch. You might have to connect the modem to one computer and
enable Internet Connection Sharing on that computer to give Internet
access to the other computer. You might have to do something else.

Please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail) with
the answers to these questions:

1. What is the make and model number of the ADSL modem?

2. How does it connect to the first computer? USB? Ethernet?
Something else?

3. Is the first computer's Internet connection always live, or do you
have to click an icon or run a program to make it connect?

4. What version of Windows does each computer run? It's especially
important to know whether they have the original version of Windows
98, or Windows 98 Second Edition. To find out, right-click My
Computer, click Properties, and look under "System:".

You might be able to connect both computers to the modem through a
switch. You might have to connect the modem to one computer and
