Problems upgrading to Windows 2000 from '98
I have windows 98 on my computer, I have tried to upgrade to win 2000 but
during installating when the software is "checking files" or something like that the upgrade software hangs and I have to cancel the upgrade. Upon further inspection I discovered that the directory that the program is hanging up on is a corrupted directory for some reason, when I try to delete the files in the directory I get error messages. I have tried numerous things to get these files deleted so that i can finally upgrade to win2000, PLEASE help me. My email is |

What have you tried? Run Scandisk to find and fix any errors in the file
