Default Win98 sees WinXP partition, not the other way :-(

If the boot manager manages the boot process by writing new partition
information, then the problem will be with that process. It is not uncommon
for a boot manager to boot a specific OS by 'hiding' the other partition.
If the partition manager has an alternative way of working, then you may be
able to make the partition visible in XP.

XP bootloader questions should be asked in an XP newsgroup. AFAIK it is
quite possible to install the XP boot manager without disturbing the
existing contents of a partition, since that's what the XP installation
process does when you upgrade and choose to retain your existing OS. But the
XP experts would be able to describe the process.

GAG boot manager

Win98 sees the XP partition as D:

WInXP does not see the Win98se partition
(in Disk Manager it's show has "unknown partition)

Before I installed the bootmanager it worked both
ways. tried to use XPs boot manager, but I couldn't
create the DOSSECT.DOS file with debug from XP

Tried to make it from the Win98se partition (set
that active), but that file didn't work (only
says "no operating system").

Do I have to put the XP bootloader on the first
partition and make that active. How do I do that
without destroying Win98se on the partition?
