download accelerator plus ads

picked up an old pc for kids to play around on.
pent 133...and just installed windows 98 SE
I've cleaned most of the old stuff up....ran spybot and ad-aware.....spybot's picked up this download accelerator plus ads and can't seem to get rid of it.
I had it run on start up(seems htese ads were writing to the hard drive while in operation and gave me the option to run on start up) but....still finds it and can't remove it for some reason.
I'm having difficulties finding this adware/spyware.
Any ideas?

Look on the add-remove screen and see if it can be uninstalled from there.
