....want/requires the PC with Win ME the one with the ISP=20
account (so do I have to remove the programs and hardware=20
modem in the XP Media Center PC??? as in absolutely=20
necessary???)

So can someone give the details in setting it up??? Will=20
using the cross-over cable limit performance whatnot as=20
opposed to some other networking implementations (but I=20
don't know what those other implementations are)

I have seen at least a couple of Netgear devices with so-
called "dialup backup" (meaning they also work with=20
broadband..presuming I have an eye to the upgrade in the=20
future)...now, are these way more complex to setup &=20
config??? I'm intimidated by networking since it's all=20
foreign & Greek to me, but with good & detailed enough=20
instructions, I can tackle the project

Thanks in advance,
