Printing using local TCP/IP port
Hi.
I have now a user that would like to use our printers. The only way to print out is to configure a Standard TCP/IP Port, but I can not figure out how to do this in WindowsME. Everyone else are using WindowXP and there are no problem with those users. DagN |

Dag,
Regrettably Win Me contains no built-in networking printing client. If the printer is an HP printer then look on the HP site where you may find the necessary client (I run an HP4550 colour LaserJet off a JetDirect box on my LAN). Otherwise you will need to look on www.download.com or Google for a suitable client such as perhaps the Intelliscribe LPR Print Client (http://download.com.com/3000-2088-10...ml?tag=lst-0-1). -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP [2001-2005] Dag N wrote: Hi.
