My printer will not always pull down envelopes to print.
Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. I have no
problem with regular printer paper, this just happens with
envelopes.

I don't know if this printer has a special setting for envelopes or not.
Anyway, it sounds like the envelopes are too thick or too slick. It's also
possible that the rubber roller that pulls them in is slick due to use, age,
and wear.
If you can get to the rubber rollers, they can be cleaned. What to use on
them is a matter of opinion and they type of rubber used. We used to buy a
little bottle of windshield wiper conditioner and use it on the older
printers. Newer ones seem to do ok with such things as alcohol. Do not use
rubbing alcohol, since it commonly has an oil included.
Most liquor stores sell grain alcohol in a small bottle.
I don't know if typewriter roller cleaner will work on modern printers. We
used it also at one time.
