Default what in the world is the problem?

I recently tried to install a Lexmark Z32 printer on my
gateway. All of a sudden all my icons are black boxes.
It is driving me nuts! Someone please tell me how to get
it normal again.

err, but the printer's working, right?

In WindowsExplorer, navigate to C:\Windows. Open the Tools
Menu/FolderOptions/View and check "display Hidden files".

Delete the file called ShellIconCache.

Reboot; Windows will automatically rebuild it and hopefully give you a
shiny new series of Icons on your Desktop, too.
